LSDAD curates another bizarro evening, this time at Muchmore’s in Williamsburg with the following weirdos:
Spreaders (Hudson Valley, NY, mystical warrior of out sounds)
Radio Shock (head honcho of Decoherence Records, lord of neon freak dreams)
Surf Hair (queen of fried head trips)
Painted Faces (or LSDAD, bringing the “straight” songs, still warped)
Crisis Actor (also jams synth in Alien Trilogy, bringing the “jams”/grooves)
Will Phil Chernyak show up and rage (and discuss Needful Things with me)?
Will NYC Facebook Noise Group approve a posting of the event despite, Painted Faces being a “singer songwriter”?
Will Spreaders make it to NYC in time from upstate?
Will Surf Hair bring an actual cat to the show?
Will this show be remembered 15 years from now/detailed in the David Drucker memoir/tell all?
Will chicken parmesan be consumed in/around the venue the night of the show?
Will Radio Shock blow his amp?
Will Mike Green “party”?
Will Crisis Actor get signed to a major label based on the strength of his performance and the secret A&R reps from 4AD who may or may not be at the gig?
Will Josh Tabbia show up and set up an Already Dead merch table (why not right)?
Will my cousin Stephanie show up and hang?
Will Brendan get an empanada with me after the gig at our “special spot”?
Will as many people show up as if it were a regular Skinny Apartment gig?
Find out all that and more soon!
